Rebranding the line and helping to expand the mark internationally
Though successful domestically, with a few exclusive retailers in select global locations, the Barcelona fashion and accessories house, Custo, or Custo Line as it was then called, deserved world recognition. Their funky retro-inspired patterns and prints were being imitated and they had to act.
Capitalizing on the name cache of their hometown, we recommended dropping the ‘Line’ which didn’t translate very well, and adding Barcelona to the moniker. Several years later and our logo design is found in dozens of retail locations worldwide as Custo Barcelona.
