Known for its thoughtful revitalisation of some of Barcelona’s most iconic hospitality destinations, Grup Confiteria undertook the complete transformation of the rooftop restaurant and pool bar at the Moxy Barcelona.
The interiors, redesigned by Spanish artist and designer Alfonso de la Fuente Rey, blend playful contemporary aesthetics with a distinctly Mediterranean sensibility. Working closely with the interior design team, Colorola developed a bespoke environmental graphics and signage system designed to seamlessly complement the space and guest experience.
Located beside Barcelona Sants railway station, the mid-century modern tower features panoramic views across the city, with Montjuïc and the iconic Olympic tower taking center stage. Inspired by these sweeping vistas, the venue was aptly named Bonavista — Catalan for “great view.”
Under the creative direction of the marketing team at Confiteria, Colorola crafted a comprehensive hospitality branding program rooted in vintage Miami references, reinterpreted through a contemporary Catalan lens. From illustrative identity design and custom typography to on-site signage and visual storytelling, the project captures the vibrant spirit of Barcelona rooftop culture while creating a distinctive and memorable brand experience.
